Inventory Specialist
As an Inventory Specialist at CAPE Holland, you are responsible for managing stock and the warehouse. This includes both large and small materials, bulk and custom-made materials and components.
Each day, you ensure the smooth handling of incoming and/or outgoing materials and parts — from receiving, inspecting, and registering to issuing them. You play a key role in ensuring operations run smoothly. You are assertive and communicative. You’ll work closely with our fellow Inventory Manager and colleagues from the Supply Chain and Fabrication departments.
MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervising and assisting in loading and unloading trucks and containers (including the accompanying documentation and freight paperwork);
- Acting as the contact person for suppliers or logistics service providers regarding physical deliveries;
- Performing quality and quantity checks upon goods receipt;
- Recording goods receipt, issuance, order picking, and other inventory changes in the ERP system, ensuring data is always accessible, up-to-date, and complete;
- Maintaining and ensuring a workspace in accordance with the 5S methodology.
WE OFFER
As an Inventory Specialist at CAPE Holland, no day is the same! You’re given the freedom to take initiative, with room for development and personal growth.
We also offer a competitive salary, holiday pay, travel allowance, and participation in an attractive pension scheme. In a personal conversation, we’d love to tell you more about other appealing employment conditions.
And don’t forget… you’ll be part of an enthusiastic and close-knit team. Everyone contributes to the process and is, in their own way, #CAPEABLE. You’ll receive a warm welcome to help you feel at home quickly. We also hope to see you at team outings and Friday afternoon drinks.
WE ASK
Rolling up your sleeves comes naturally to you. You’re flexible and adapt quickly to changing situations, aligning with your team’s needs. You’re task-focused, keep a good overview, and your proactive, hands-on mentality ensures things get done. Additionally, you have:
- A completed MBO Level 4 education in transport/logistics or technical field;
- Experience and knowledge in effective logistics and warehouse work, such as receiving, storing, picking orders, issuing, and returns;
- Technical knowledge of general mechanical engineering is required;
