Logistics Operator

As a Logistics Operator at CAPE Holland, you will be part of a team of driven colleagues.

You are responsible for coordinating and organizing transport shipments for both CAPE and external customers. You ensure timely and correct handling of all logistics processes and maintain close contact with customers (internal/external), carriers, and other involved parties. You and your team form a crucial link in our business process. After a training period, you will be responsible for your assigned logistics portfolio.

In this role, you are responsible for correct administrative entry into our ERP system and ensure that proper procedures are followed. You are assertive, able to handle stress, and skilled in negotiation. You will work closely with colleagues from Supply Chain, Projects, Engineering, Work Preparation, and Fabrication.

MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Planning and coordinating (inter)national transport;
• Preparing and checking transport documentation;
• Communicating with customers, carriers, and customs authorities;
• Monitoring shipments and proactively solving any issues;
• Administrative processing of transport orders in our system.

WE ASK
You’re hands-on, precise, and a steady worker. You’re flexible, enjoy humor, and like working in a team. Additionally, you have:

• A completed MBO-level education (vocational training) in logistics or transport;

• Sufficient knowledge of Dutch and English, both written and spoken;

• A proactive and customer-oriented attitude;

• Accuracy and stress resistance;

• Experience with MS Office; knowledge of logistics software is a plus.
