Kai is an engineer specialised in marine & offshore technologies with a degree in marine technologies from the Technical University in Hamburg. Living in Houston, Texas, Kai is responsible for the American market and focuses on making CAPE Holland the go-to company delivering offshore/near-shore piling solutions. He believes in trust and authenticity in business relationships. Kai is personally committed to support the energy transition and the ambitious plans of US offshore wind developers and contractors and has been directly involved in several projects like the first-ever US offshore wind project, Block Island, but also in several oil & gas as well as civil (port, terminal, bridge) projects in the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean, North West Pacific area and up and down the costs of the Americas.
