He learned his trade in the oil and gas and chemical industries, where he earned his stripes before taking that experience and those high standards into a wide variety of markets and businesses. Throughout his career, he has been dedicated to helping organizations improve HSEQ performance, manage risks effectively, and achieve compliance while maintaining operational excellence. At the heart of his approach is a strong focus on the people behind the processes, believing that caring for people is the foundation of sustainable performance.

At CAPE Holland, Kerst leads the HSSEQ function with a strong focus on culture, continuous improvement, collaboration, teamwork, and business performance.
