As Sales Manager Offshore Wind at CAPE Holland – a Venterra Group company – you are responsible for driving commercial growth within the global offshore wind market. You play a key role in identifying, developing and securing opportunities for CAPE Holland equipment sales, rental solutions and related services. Working closely with developers, EPC contractors, installation contractors and other key industry stakeholders, you help position CAPE Holland’s technology, equipment and expertise in offshore wind projects worldwide.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
As Sales Manager – Offshore Wind, you will develop and manage commercial opportunities across the offshore wind industry. You will build strong customer relationships, lead commercial discussions and help convert market demand into successful projects.
Commercial Development & Account Management
- Build and develop relationships with developers, EPC contractors, installation contractors and other key industry stakeholders.
- Identify and secure opportunities for equipment sales, rental solutions and value-added services.
- Develop and manage a healthy sales pipeline across priority markets.
- Translate customer needs and market developments into commercially viable opportunities.
- Contribute to achieving sales targets and executing CAPE Holland’s growth strategy.
- Support cross-segment opportunities where relevant, including offshore and near-shore oil & gas projects.
Opportunity, Tender & Proposal Management
- Lead commercial opportunities from qualification through proposal development, contract negotiation and contract award.
- Act as the primary commercial contact for customers throughout the sales process.
- Coordinate internal stakeholders to develop competitive and technically feasible solutions.
- Contribute to pricing strategies, commercial evaluations and contract negotiations.
- Drive proposal follow-up to maximise conversion of opportunities into customer orders.
Project Handover & Customer Relationship Management
- Ensure a smooth and effective handover to Project Management after contract award.
- Maintain customer relationships throughout project execution in close cooperation with project teams.
- Support customer satisfaction initiatives and identify future business opportunities.
Market Intelligence & Business Development
- Monitor offshore wind market developments, tender activity and competitor movements.
- Identify new technologies, emerging markets and growth opportunities.
- Support market-entry and commercial positioning strategies.
- Represent CAPE Holland at industry events, conferences and customer meetings.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You are an entrepreneurial and commercially minded professional who enjoys building relationships and creating opportunities. You combine strong business development skills with a structured approach to managing complex sales processes. You feel comfortable operating in an international environment and can engage with stakeholders at all levels.
In addition, you possess:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Commercial Management or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience within offshore wind, offshore construction, heavy equipment and/or oil & gas industries.
- A proven track record in technical sales, business development or commercial management.
- Experience with tendering and negotiating complex offshore contracts.
- Strong knowledge of the complete commercial lifecycle, from opportunity development to project execution.
- Experience in key account management, commercial negotiations and pricing strategies.
- International commercial experience is considered an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Dutch language skills are a plus.
